Art on the Move: a story from the Open Road
When I commissioned this painting, I asked my dear friend (me), to blend three powerful elements that speak to my soul, and she delivered something truly extraordinary. The result was this vibrant, abstract piece, a swirl of symbolism, music, and motion, that became a rolling work of art on the side of my semi-rig flatbed truck.
As I traveled thousands of miles across highways and backroads, this decal sparked countless smiles, honks, and conversations. People would wave me down at rest stops or truck plazas just to ask about the art. “What’s the story behind it?” they’d say, clearly lit up by its energy. The answer was always the same: this piece was painted by a friend whose art makes the world brighter.
Her brush captured more than aesthetics, she captured my story. The things I hold dear. The rhythm of the road. The heart behind the hustle. To this day, I carry the memory of those interactions, proof that beauty doesn’t need a gallery to make an impact.
This painting didn’t just ride with me, it connected me to others. And that’s the magic she creates.

ABOUT
I usually paint on canvas and have done a few murals. My truck driving friend asked me to create a painting that he could apply to his truck cab, and so I did. Nice to know that my artwork will be seen on highways and by ways as he travels across the USA,
